Our Privacy Philosophy

Your data is yours. We believe in privacy by design. Your information stays on your device and, if enabled, is backed up to your personal iCloud account. It is never shared with us or any third party. This is a core principle of PayStreak.

Information We Use

PayStreak only stores information that you manually enter into the app. This data lives only on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account for syncing. We do not operate our own servers, do not collect your personal financial data, and do not have access to it

PayStreak uses the following information to function:

  • Manually Entered Financial Data: This includes names for your payment plans, payment amounts, due dates, biller names, and any other information you provide when creating or editing a plan.
  • User Settings: The app saves your preferences, such as your preferred notification time, to your device.
  • Anonymous Purchase Data: To validate "PayStreak Pro" subscriptions, the app interacts with Apple's StoreKit service. We do not have access to your Apple ID, name, or any personal payment information.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to provide the features of the PayStreak app. Specifically:

  • To calculate and display your payment schedules, upcoming due dates, and debt progress.
  • To send you payment reminders, if you have enabled them.
  • To allow you to view and manage your payment history within the app.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, data mining, or any other purpose.

Data Storage and Security

All of your financial and plan-related data is stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may be backed up and synced across your devices using your personal iCloud account. PayStreak does not have access to your iCloud account or its contents; storage and encryption are handled by Apple’s infrastructure.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not have a backend server, and we do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. We also do not use third-party analytics tools to track your financial data or behavior in the app.

Your Control

You are in full control of your data. You can edit or delete any payment plan or biller you have created. You can permanently delete all local data by deleting the app. You can manage the app's iCloud data from your device's Settings app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. If changes are significant, we may also mention them in the app’s App Store description.

Terms of Use

By downloading and using PayStreak, you agree to these terms.

1. Age Requirement

PayStreak is rated 4+ on the App Store. The app contains no objectionable content. However, because it involves financial information, it is intended for use by adults or under adult supervision.

2. The Service

PayStreak is an application intended for informational and organizational purposes to help you track and manage your payment plans, expenses, and debts.

3. Subscriptions

PayStreak offers a subscription plan, "PayStreak Pro," which is required to access certain features such as unlimited plans and payment reminders. This is an auto-renewing yearly subscription.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

4. Financial Disclaimer

PayStreak is intended for informational and organizational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional financial advice, assessment, or planning. Always seek the advice of a qualified financial provider with any questions you may have regarding your financial situation.

5. Intellectual Property

The PayStreak application, including its name, design, features, and underlying code, is the property of the app's developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Refunds

Refunds for purchases or subscriptions are handled directly by Apple and are subject to Apple’s App Store policies. Please use your App Store account to request a refund if needed.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page. Your continued use of the app after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
